Why a hard cap? (Why it is NOT Cursor-style overage)
Cursor-style variable token billing produces an unpredictable end-of-month surprise bill on the merchant side — the $500M trust loss of mid-2025 was the warning. Kizuki takes a different route: a fixed "drafts/month hard cap" per tier. When the cap is hit, draft generation pauses until next-month reset (existing drafts stay editable/approvable). Your card is only ever charged the plan price. Merchants see one simple unit — "drafts" — and never need to understand tokens or API costs.
Frequently asked questions
What is a "draft"?
One AI-generated reply candidate = one draft: a reply to a comment / DM / Mercari message, etc. Generating 3 candidates at once still counts as 1 draft. Merchants only watch "drafts" — no need to calculate tokens or API cost.
What happens at the monthly cap?
New draft generation pauses until the 1st-of-month reset. Editing / approving / sending existing drafts still works. At 80% we show a "consider Business / Enterprise" banner. No extra charges ever.
Do unused drafts roll over?
No rollover. Everything resets to 0 each month. This smooths local AI cost and avoids "hoard for a dump" behavior on the merchant side.
What about a Cursor-style surprise bill?
Structurally impossible. Kizuki uses flat tier + hard cap, not variable token billing. Your card is only ever charged Pro $50 / Business $200 / Enterprise $500. There is no overage feature.
Do I need my own Anthropic key?
No. Kizuki manages all AI inference. Pro / Business merchants never touch an API key. Only the Enterprise tier can optionally choose a BYOK Anthropic key.
What happens to my data after I cancel?
Retained for 90 days — resume any time within that window. After 90 days, full deletion (GDPR / APPI compliant).
What is the Enterprise hardware cost?
A dedicated Mac mini ~$700 (installed at your site, 24h operation). Kizuki sources it and does initial setup. The $500 setup fee covers software config + monitoring setup.
What is the Multilang Hub?
Your console UI is always in your language (zh-Hant / ja / en). When a Japanese buyer asks 「送料はいくら?」 you read it as "how much is shipping?" in your language. Edit in your language → AI translates to Japanese → sends to Mercari. You never see a language you do not read.
